Dave Shea's portfolio is a true work of art.

A few days ago, I mentioned the importance of having a portfolio, as well as some tips for creating one. I was going to write a post about 10 good designs I’ve found, but as I was sitting down to write this post someone in my Twitter feed (@studiorohan) posted a link to 50 Impressive Designs, which not only found better ones but trumped the 10 I was going to do. So instead I’ll post the really good ones I have, and let you peruse the ones over at Spoonfed Designs.

Dave Shea, Bright Creative: Dave is a veteran in the industry, and his portfolio really reflects it. It’s well organized, informative, and easy to use. There is also enough information, but not too much. This is by far my favorite portfolio of the lot. Great work- truly inspirational.

Michael Muller: This portfolio, while it doesn’t follow all the tips laid out in my previous post, is very interesting and therefore memorable. The cool and unique way to navigate makes this one stand out. Plus, I think you’re forced to really look at the work because of it.

Headscape: Not only is their portfolio the first thing you see, but everything is laid out in front of you and you never have to navigate away from that page (unless you want to visit one of their sites). Very informative- nice showcase.

I recommend you take a look at the one Spoonfed Designs lists too. Some great work there- after all this, I might even redesign my portfolio!

PS- Have you see one that truly inspires you? Link it up in the comments.
